Green Bench technology represents the future of construction drawing viewing and management and a huge win for the environment so we’re sure you have plenty of questions. To ensure you get the information you need instantly we’ve compiled a comprehensive list of answers to all the questions we’re asked most often.
How many trees are planted per project?
Every 200 drawings uploaded to your project, Green bench will plant a tree on your behalf. Your company will get a certificate at the end of the project to show how many trees you have planted.
Where are the trees planted?
Currently our trees planting efforts will be directed towards Vegetation Rehabilitation areas that were affected by the devastating bushfires in early 2020.
How do you upload drawings?
Drawings are uploaded via upload.greenbench.co. To ensure secure management, only the Administrator for the project will have access to upload drawings.
Do the drawings update themselves?
Yes! The Green Bench software will detect any new revision, supersede the older revision and automatically update to the latest drawing.
How do I add a contact when taking a screenshot?
The administrator for the project can add email addresses under the contacts section in the upload.greenbench.co page.
What happens if the Green Bench is onsite and it is accidentally damaged?
You will have two options, we offer insurance for the Green bench at the start of the purchase, if this is purchased regardless of the damage (subject to terms and conditions) a replacement will be sent out within 24 hours (subject to availability). If you choose not to proceed with the insurance, at the start of the hire period a deposit bond will be required, our technical team will inspect the Green Bench and provide a replacement cost for the damaged unit / part which will be deducted from the deposit bond.
How many drawings can be uploaded at a time?
We recommend for a greater upload speed no more than 300 drawings at a time.
How long will it take to view the drawings on the Green Bench, once uploaded?
Once the initial set of project of drawings are uploaded to the Green Bench, any uploaded drawings that have a new revision will take 10-30 minutes until you will see it on the Green Bench.
How do I remove drawings from the Preview Bar?
To remove drawings from the Preview Bar simply swipe left on the drawing.
How do I change my password?
All passwords can be changed in the profile section at the top right hand side of the page.
Can I reduce the blue light through the screen?
This won’t be necessary as all our Green Benches come with a blue light filter.
What internet is required Wi-Fi or hardwired?
It is recommended that all Green Benches are plugged into a data port connection. However if this is not possible, Green Bench works with a Wi-Fi connection, a minimum speed of 100mbps download and 40mbps upload.
What is the 30 day refund policy?
If you are not satisfied with the Green Bench within the first 30 days, we will pick it back up and return any deposits made. Please contact us for more information.
How are the benches set-up?
We deliver and set up all Green Benches and provide full technical support for the lifetime of the hire.
Do you deliver throughout Australia?
Yes, we deliver Australia wide.
Is the Green Bench an Australian made product?
Yes, we design and construct all our Green Benches in Australia.
What is the lead time of a Green Bench once ordered?
Every Green Bench is made to order, so the lead time is approximately 6 weeks. If there is any change to the standard 6 week lead time, we will let you know prior to ordering.
Is training provided for the Green Bench?
Yes. We will set the Green Bench up on site and then take you through a full training and demonstration session which usually takes 30-60 minutes.
Is any maintenance required for the Green Bench?
It is recommended that the Green Bench is wiped down once at the end of each day. This will remove any finger marks and dust that may have accumulated over the day.
How secure is the data uploaded to the Green bench?
Our software has the full security of the google cloud platform on which it runs. You can read the full security terms here.
